Clover and Oliver, two friends, are faced with finishing a pressed penny album after an accident leaves Clover’s mom unable to visit the last penny machine.

With a map of penny machines across the country, they relive past memories of acquiring pennies. While reminiscing, they wish to finally finish the collection that they started together.

Upon arrival at the last location, they discover the machine isn’t there. Clover, upset because they can't finish the collection, is comforted by Oliver who suggests creating a new memory together.
